RAIPUR: Maoists killed three kin of surrendered cadres in a village in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh’s Bastar division on Tuesday, and are feared to have kidnapped over a dozen villagers in a bid to terrorise the locals. A type of killed was a scholar. Safety forces had been despatched to the world to trace down the Maoist squad, reviews Rashmi Drolia. The victims had been strangled with ropes in entrance of villagers. Two of them are believed to be kin of Maoist commander Dinesh Modiyam who gave up arms in March. Dinesh, the secretary of Gangaloor committee, was essentially the most dreaded Maoist in Bijapur, blamed for over 100 deaths. On Tuesday, a squad led by Maoist commander Vella stormed into Peddakorma and singled out the surrendered cadres’ kin. Police mentioned a probe has been launched.
