U.S. shares closed greater Friday, with all three main benchmarks ending the week at contemporary all-time peaks within the wake of Donald Trump’s victory within the presidential election.
The S&P 500 rose 22.44 factors Friday, or 0.4%, to finish at 5,995.54.
The Dow Jones Industrial Common climbed 259.65 factors, or 0.6%, to shut at 43,988.99.
The Nasdaq Composite edged up 17.32 factors, or 0.1%, to finish at 19,286.78.
For the week, the Dow climbed 4.6%, the S&P 500 gained 4.7% and the Nasdaq rallied 5.7%. The Dow and S&P 500 every logged their largest weekly share good points since final November, based on Dow Jones Market Knowledge.
