The S&P 500 was up 65.97 factors, or 1.1%, to complete at 6,040.04. It was one of the best day for the large-cap index since Nov. 6, in line with Dow Jones Market Knowledge.
The Nasdaq Composite completed up 266.24 factors, or 1.4%, at 20,031.13.
Since 1950, the S&P 500 has generated common and median returns of 1.3% throughout this era, extensively outpacing the market’s common seven-day return of 0.3%, in line with LPL Monetary.
